Getting to Rainbow Rooms

From Caticlan airport - Some airlines offer transportation from the airport to the jettyport. If not, hire (charter) a tricycle just outside the terminal at the end of the airport "walkway". It's P50 for up to 3 people. The ride is a short one. You may be able to pay the Terminal, Environmental, and/or boat fees when you pay for the tricycle. It changes from time to time.

From Kalibo airport - find a bus/van to Caticlan (P200 fixed including boat fee as "passenger", or P1500 as "private" which is negotiable with the driver. Good luck.) More information can be found here, choose the Airport to Resort option. They'll bring you to the Caticlan Jettyport in approx. 90 minutes. Follow the instructions just below.

At Caticlan Jettyport, you'll have to pay the Terminal fee (P50) and the Environmental fee (P75). And there's the boat to cross to Boracay. The boats charge P25 before 5:30pm and P30 "after". They generally leave when full. Montenegro runs every half hour and charges P30. You can pay all three at the Jettyport, but you'll have to stand in 3 separate lines. At least the windows are adjacent. Once inside the Jettyport building, your bags will be searched with a scanner. You may also be patted down.

Once you arrive at the Jettyport on Boracay, the "easiest" way is to charter a tricycle (P100). Tell the driver to bring you to Tree House Resort (on Angol Plaza Road). You'll have to walk to the beach where you can either walk to our resort or take a pedal tricycle.

Rainbow Inn is about 100m to the right at the beach. Just after 357 Boracay Resort. (The sequence is Tree House Resort on the corner, then Surfside Resort, then 357 Boracay Resort, then Cowboy Cocina Bar & Grill.) Come to Cowboy Cocina Bar & Grill and ask for Alan. I will check you in and show you to your room.

Porters generally want P20 per bag. There will be porters at luggage pickup in the airport, and again at Caticlan Jettyport from your tricycle to the boat, and then at Boracay Jettyport from the boat to another tricycle.

Now don't you wish you had us meet you at the airport?
